Google Chrome to offer group visits by domain option for its history Page

Chrome history page got “Group domains” option on top-right side of page (not enabled by default though), when you tick the checkbox next to it, your browsing history of visits to the same domain will be grouped and shown. You can click on any domain group to expand to view all pages visited in that domain.

Enabling grouping visits by domain

To test this feature you need to add “–enable-grouped-history” switch (without quotes) after Chrome.exe in Target filed for Chromium or Canary build shortcut.

According to Francois the grouped domains feature to allow

  • grouping visits by domain.
  • Ordering the grouped visits by number of visits.
  • Seeing grouped visits for the last 7 days or last calendar month
  • Being able to move the timeframe from above forward and back in time.
