After releasing Avast Free antivirus 2018, Avast software has released AVG Free Antivirus 2018 v18.1, the installer comes without Zen and bring protection against exploits, malicious PE files and Shell code.
If you don’t know, the previous version of AVG Free released in Dec 2017 hasn’t installed Zen component, more smart change in version 18.1 is they’ve removed the Zen from their installers.
Zen users can still able to access and manage subscription and other AVG paid products by clicking the ‘My AVG’ menu present in the main window.

AVG Free Antivirus 18.1 with anti-exploit module
Similar to Avast Free antivirus, AVG free includes anti-exploit module that has no UI and you can able to enable or disable it in troubleshooting section of AVG settings.
