Google Meet is now available in Gmail

Google Meet is already available for everyone who owns a Google Account on meet.google.com. Google announced Meet will come to Gmail soon. Just now, a couple of my Gmail accounts started to notify the arrival of the app by saying ” Google Meet, now in Gmail. Video meetings with live captioning and screen sharing for up to 100 people”

Google Meet now available in Gmail

Sign into Gmail and check if the Meet is available for you. If available, you can able to start or join a meeting.

Meet integration into Gmail makes it easy to use Google’s Premium video conferencing feature without the need of visiting meet.google.com

For the unknown, With Google Meet, “you can host video meetings with up to 100 people, with helpful features like easy screen sharing and scheduling, real-time captions, low light mode and expanded tiled layout”.

Hide Meet section in Gmail:

If you’ve no plans to use Meet and found it distracting or if it comes in way of your chat in Gmail, Google will soon allow you to hide that section in its email service.
