The Bing website on its homepage daily shows a new beautiful image, these images are of high definition and even fit your wider screen, Microsoft allows to download the Bing image to your computer and use it for wallpaper purposes on desktop. Today, Redmond Software giant released a new application called “Bing Wallpaper” for Windows, which when installed, changes your desktop wallpaper with a new Bing homepage image every day, but there is a catch! Bing’s GM, Michael Schechter announced about the Bing Wallpaper app on twitter by saying “We just shipped an official way to set the bing Homepage image as your desktop wallpaper on windows”.
Bing Wallpaper App
Bing Wallpaper includes a collection of beautiful images from around the world that have been featured on the Bing homepage. Not only will you see a new image on your desktop each day, but you can also browse images and learn where they’re from.
The tool when installed sets Bing as homepage and default search provider for Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge, Firefox and Google Chrome browsers, to avoid this you need to uncheck the two entries in the installer dialog, clicking “No thanks” will cancel the app installation.
Bing Wallpaper once installed, sits in the system tray and displays the image caption and allows us to browse and change the wallpaper from its right-click menu. The app works offline also.
