
Bing Homepage has gone HD, yes! Microsoft has added high-definition images to their Search engine homepage, so that you can now view it on a Wide-Screen that has a resolution of 1920* 1080 pixels.
Bing Homepage offers an image caption and a download button
Now when you mouse over the ‘info’ button at the bottom right corner of the page, you’ll see an image caption and a link with the text – ‘Download today’s image’ to download the HD image, when you click on that link, the Bing homepage image will be downloaded in JPEG format to your computer which you can set as desktop background. So this post could be useless from now on.
Update: Bing now showing this message under Download today’s image: ‘Restricted to wallpaper use only’. They’re copyrighted images, so you shouldn’t use them for other purposes, but you can as your desktop wallpaper.

How to enable or Turn on HD images on Bing Homepage
Bing doesn’t show HD images by default in some countries, if you don’t see the image in full HD, you can turn it on by visiting the Settings.
- Click on the Gear icon to open the Bing Settings page
- Click on ‘HOMEPAGE’ and under ‘Image Size’, select ‘Show a larger image’ and click on ‘Save’ button to apply the changes.
Note: Display of larger (HD) images aimed at faster internet connections and monitors having resolution larger than 1366* 768.
