
Tonec has published IDM Extension for Edge and is now available in the Windows Store. To install this extension, you need to be using Internet Download Manager 6.30 build 1 or later version.
We’ve covered how to install IDM Extension in Microsoft Edge manually, which no longer required if you’re using latest IDM version 6.30 build 1 as the new version has added ‘ new extension for a full-fledged integration with Microsoft Edge browser’, which is now available in the Store.

Install IDM Integration Module Extension for Edge from Windows Store
1. Launch IDM, ‘Check for updates’ from the Help menu and install newly released update or you can also manually install latest version of Internet Download Manager on your computer (if you’re not using it).
2. After that, IDM shows ‘integration into Microsoft Edge browser’ dialog (check the above screenshot) with information about IDM Edge extension and how to get it from the Store and enable it in Edge afterwards.
3. After clicking OK, the dialog goes away and Store opens IDM page, click on ‘Get’ for the extension to install.
4. After that, open Edge and turn on IDM the extension, done.
Note: IDM has intentionally hid the Extension in Store from listings for testing purposes, so you don’t see the search results for the extension when you search for it, instead, you can use the below link to open the IDM extension page in the Store.
