IDM 6.23 Build 17 adds Support for Microsoft Edge browser

Till now Internet Download Manager officially supports popular browsers such as Apple Safari, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome and Opera. As Windows 10 release is four days away, just about time, latest version IDM 6.23 build 17 has added support for Microsoft Edge browser. This means, IDM now picks up the downloads initiated in Edge browser.

After installing this version and followed by a restart of your computer, when you open IDM configuration dialog by selecting ‘Options’ in Downloads, you can notice ‘Microsoft Edge Content Process’ added to the list of integrated browsers (check the screenshot below). If you don’t want IDM to download files from Edge browser, just uncheck it.
