- Open Registry Editor by typing Regedit in Run command dialog
- Navigate toHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindows NTCurrentVersionImage File Execution Options
- Delete GoogleUpdate.exe key
Now try to run Chrome Setup file, the installer will be launched, Chrome will be downloaded and installed on your computer without any issues.
