Adwcleaner, a simple and portable tool, that is very much effective in removing adware, PUPs, browser hijackers, has been updated; major version —Adwcleaner 6.0— has been released and available for download. The user interface has been refreshed and the tool now uses a new codebase, has got a lot of improvements, bug fixes and new features.

Changes
1. Results are now shown at the end of the scan.
2. Uninstall button has been moved to File menu.
3. The number of threats detected will be shown on the right side during the scan.
4. Options and log manager have their own windows, can be accessed from the Tools menu.
5. Version 6.0 of the tool consumes 45% less memory when compared to v5, that’s a huge improvement!.
6. The tool now supports Vivaldi and Icedragon browsers, and shows the threats if found for them under the Chrome tab.
