
The first beta of Advanced SystemCare 10 came built-in with the ad blocking feature, second beta released today has added FaceID feature. With this new feature, IObit claims to ‘protect your PC from unauthorized access and catch the intruders in the act with Facial recognition technology’.
FaceID feature, which needs Webcam installed on your computer to work, comes disabled by default, you can notice this in Protect module of the main program window. Read the below information carefully before turning on FaceID, which will be displayed when you hover over privacy agreement.

‘FaceID will use your camera to identify individuals who log in or wake up your computer. There may be a flash shooting due to different camera configurations. FaceID will only use your face biometric data during the identification process. The biomatric data is irreversible and cannot be recovered to facial image.
FaceID will encrypt and store the photos of intruders on your computers, so that you can secretly who can secretly access your computer via FaceID history. FaceID will never use your photo for other use. We promise there is no privacy leak when using FaceID.’
This beta improves ASC UI and comes with fixes to bugs discovered in first beta.
