Whenever you upload a video to YouTube and publish, if you’ve connected your Twitter account to your YouTube account, a tweet on behalf of you will be automatically shared on Twitter, that’s completely fine, but the following is not.
Prevent YouTube from posting Tweets to Twitter when you add new videos to a Playlist
When you create a new playlist and add one or more videos to it, each video you’ve added to the playlist will be informed to your followers on Twitter with an update like this: ‘I added a video to a @YouTube playlist http://youtu.be/Tp..<video title>‘. The list of tweets posted by YouTube in your Twitter timeline may annoy users following you, to avoid this from happening in future
1 .Sign into YouTube and visit your account sharing page.
2. Account Settings > Connected Accounts, select your Twitter account and under ‘Share your public activity to connected accounts’, uncheck ‘Add video to public playlist’
3. Click on ‘Save‘ button to make the changes go live.
None of these were checked on my account, but it is still sharing. Any advice?
THANK YOU!!!
