How to Uninstall and Reinstall built-in OneNote App in Windows 10

OneNote is also one of the default Apps that comes installed with Windows 10, if you ran into issues or got an error while try to open it like :”Sorry, something went wrong. We were unable to sign you in. Please try again later“. Here uninstalling OneNote and  reinstalling it after that, fixes the issue, here is how you can do that.

Uninstall and Reinstall  OneNote App in Windows 10

1. Open run dialog box and run ‘PowerShell’ command without quotes.

2.  Now copy and paste the below command and press enter

 get-appxpackage *microsoft.office.onenote* | remove-appxpackage

3. Now click on Start button and type ‘OneNote’, you won’t see any result for it because it has been already uninstalled.

4. To re-install it, Visit the Store, search for OneNote and install it.
