Piriform adds support for Unmounted drives to Recuva 1.5

Recuva which recovers deleted files from computer, Recycle Bin, memory cards, iPods, flash drives and external hard drive has got an update, version 1.50 has been released, it has added recovery support for Unmounted drives. Which means, though the drive was disconnected or unmounted Recuva still finds and shows deleted files from it after performing the scan which you can select and restore.

Recuva now recovers deleted files from Unmounted drives too

This version has also added support for ISO 9660 file systems. Other changes included in this release apart from GUI improvements and bug fixes are

  • Improved duplicated file name recovery
  • Added Junction Point recovery support
  • Improved optical drive detection and recovery
  • Improved scan statistics accuracy
