The method mentioned here that lets you automatically shutdown your computer after cleaning with CCleaner is no longer needed because Piriform has added ‘shutdown after cleaning’ option to Advanced Settings of CCleaner in version 4.09 which has just released and available to download for Windows with Chrome 32 support and other changes.
CCleaner now available with Shutdown after cleaning option
After completing your work before shutting down your computer you may want to clear browsing history and temporary files like incavi.avm and folders like Windows.old and Firefox Cache2 with CCleaner, since you’re going to shutdown your computer anyway it could be nice if CCleaner does this for you.
Now it can, all you need to do is download and install latest version of CCleaner, open it, click on Options>Advanced and select ‘Shutdown after cleaning’ and forget about your computer shutdown after running CCleaner, as Piriform’s popular tool automatically does this for you after cleaning.
Download CCleaner 4.09, you can find this version’s complete changelog on pirirform site.
