Advanced System Information tool from Piriform which shows statistics about computer hardware even for that of hard drives also including SSDs got an update- Speccy 1.24 now detects and shows attached USB drives information too. The key details shown for USB drive under “Storage” are :capacity, Real size, SMART Status, Partition ID, disk letter, type of file system, size, used space and free space.
This program now offers skip User account control warning option under “Advanced” of “General” tab in Options which when enabled program will be launched without showing UAC dialog. From system tray tab of Options you can enable Speccy to run in tray when windows starts, before this you need to enable “Minimize tray” option above it.
