We’ve covered Panda Cloud Antivirus 2.2 has added Rescue Boot, Parental Control, Safe Mode and other useful features, of these, Safe mode and Rescue Boot are two important features, one lets you install Panda Cloud Antivirus even in Safe mode and then you can rid of threats, other if you can’t even enter into safe mode that means you can’t boot into Windows.
Then using “Rescue Boot” feature in Panda Cloud AV free edition you can either create rescue boot option for your PC or create Rescue point in USB Drive to remove malware. Both methods are easier to do.
This is what Panda Security has told about Rescue boot feature in its Cloud AV v2.2 “This new feature is extremely useful in case of emergency situations caused by malware infections. Once created you will be able to boot from a USB or from a rescue option in your PC and remove any virus that locks your system thanks to Panda Cloud Cleaner technology.”
Creating Rescue Boot option for PC or USB Drive using Panda Cloud Antivirus
Open Cloud AV interface, click on blue balloon on extreme lower-right corner to open “Panda Community Labs”. Click on “Rescue boot”, here you can either select Windows drive or USB drive to create rescue point. On selecting any one, required files will be downloaded to that drive, internet connection is required.
If you’ve chosen to create Rescue boot option for your PC- if your computer is infected and won’t boots on start up- then you can able to select that option to remove viruses with Panda Cloud Cleaner .
Its more than useful to create Rescue boot on USB drive, because you can connect it to any computer and scan for malware.
Unfortunately, when we boot our PC using created recue USB drive, Panda Cloud Cleaner showed instructions on screen in a language that are not in English, lets us hope Panda security company may corrects this in future.
