How to disable Typed History in Vivaldi browser?

Vivaldi  browser shows whatever you’ve typed so far  in address bar or search bar in a drop down when you press the down arrow. This is called Typed history, enabled by default in Address and search fields of Vivaldi browser. We’ve covered how to clear Vivaldi browser’s typed history, now we’re going to share another tip on disabling the feature if you’ve found it unnecessary.

Disabling Vivaldi browser’s typed history feature

1. Vivaldi browser > Settings > Privacy, uncheck ‘Enable in Addressfiled‘ and Enable in ‘Searchfield‘ options under Typed History.

2. Done.

Note: This feature exists in latest Vivaldi 1.7 snapshot, you may officially get it when Vivaldi team releases the version 1.7.
