
If you love Quick Commands in Vivaldi, which lets you find and open what you’re looking for in open tabs, history and bookmarks from one window, then let me tell you, you can get the same in Firefox browser also. Thanks to Victal, for creating Quick Commands extension for Firefox, which provides Vivaldi-like Quick Commands Window to search and open present and former tabs.
Vivaldi Quick Commands extension for Firefox
- Visit this link on AMO in Firefox browser, download and install Quick Commands Extension.
- You can either click on the extension icon in navbar or use Alt+Shift+R shortcut to open menu window. The shortcut is customizable in the extension options from Firefox 60 onwards)
The developer says the extension ‘Provides a fast way to search and change between open Tabs or open tabs from History and Bookmarks’.
Usage:
- Use the shortcut to launch Quick Commands window (do note, the extension doesn’t work from internal Pages of Firefox browser)
- Use up/down arrows to search through tabs, history and bookmarks.
- A tab in window can be opened by pressing Enter.
- Use Esc key or Ctrl+W shortcut to close the menu window.
By visiting extension options, you can set dark or custom theme to Quick Commands window.
