Whole web is buzzing about Metro UI with the release of Windows 8 Developer Preview, have you bored with New Tab Page in Chrome even though it offers access to apps, most visited sites, recently closed tabs we’ve covered NTP replacements, how about replacing Chrome’s new tab page with dynamic widgets and apps with Metro User interface Awesome New Tab Page Chrome extension does exactly just that.
This extension allows to drag and drop widgets came with it and installed apps onto the home screen by clicking “Unlock” button and you need to lock them again to interact with apps & widgets. All widgets and apps placements and all other customization you done will be lost by clicking Reset button.
You can remove unnecessary widgets and apps from the screen by clicking unlock button and hove over the app/widget and click on trash icon. This extension lets you change background color of NTP.
