Piriform has released CCleaner version 5.17 and is available to download with new improvements and bug fixes. CCleaner 5.17 has improved Firefox 45 cleaning (FYI, Firefox 46 has been released today) and Google Chrome browser extension management. You need to visit Tools > Browser Plugins > Google Chrome, to manage chrome browser extensions. At the moment, with this version, you will be able to disable/ enable, delete or open containing folder for a selected extension.
Windows Store Apps uninstall tool added to CCleaner with v5.11 for Windows 8.1 and 10 has been improved in this version. Apart from these changes, the developer has optimized the detection of browser plugins and startup items as well.
