Dropbox began testing an experimental build version 1.7.2 with a new feature which after installing its client on Windows and Mac notifies the user from the system tray through a popup in real-time when someone shares a link or folder and further allows the user to accept or deny that shared folder invitation right from desktop after showing the notification.

This popup which shows “timeline of most important events in your Dropbox” has been combined with tray menu, you can view this popup at any time by right-clicking on Dropbox tray icon. You can access Dropbox tray menu from gear icon on popup.
