Free Download Manager 5.1 beta has got an update, version 5.1.9 has been released and available to download for Windows and Mac, with improved Stability and performance. According to FDM team’s blog post, Free Download Manager 5.1.9 beta “is fully compatible with Windows and Mac OS X, provides fast YouTube downloads and features a powerful torrent client. ”

1. Offers the Internet Explorer integration option in Settings, as well as includes experimental support for Edge browser in Windows 10.
2. Snail mode introduced in this version, lets you download files at low speeds without closing other connections.
