The tool can also be used to repair corrupted Microsoft .NET Framework 4 installations. This includes Microsoft .NET Framework 4 language packs.
If you’re experiencing issues related to .NET Framework on your Computer, then all you need to do is download and save this tool to your hard drive and run it. This tool may make changes to installed .NET framework with your consent like “correct the state of Windows Installer on the computer, reset the DACLs on certain folders, or resolve some issues that are related to invalid or corrupted update registration”.
This tool follows four steps: troubleshoots the issue, applies the fixes with user consent, tries to repair .NET framework 4 and then collects logs at the end with user consent.
Coming to the fourth step, if this tool fails to resolve installation issue on your Computer, then it may send .cab file that contains logs to Microsoft, which you can avoid by clicking the ‘Cancel’ button.
