Free Download Manager gets Dark theme

A new update for Free Download Manager – Free Download Manager 5.1.36 build 7160- has been released and available for download. The new version brings dark theme support, updates Chrome and Firefox extensions, and fixes YouTube video downloading bugs. To see FDM with dark theme, follow the below instructions.

Enable dark theme in Free Download Manager

Ensure you’re using the latest version

  1. Launch Free Download Manager by clicking on its shortcut on desktop or system tray icon
  2. Click on main menu on the right, select Settings > General
  3. Select ‘Dark’ under Choose theme.

If you don’t like the dark theme, you can set FDM to use the default light theme by selecting the option available in the General settings.

As said above, the version has updated Free Download Manager extension for Firefox and Chrome browsers.

If you don’t know, starting with version 5.1, Free Download Manager is available for Mac OS X also, apart from it works on Windows 7/8/8.1/10.
