FDM doesn’t install any extension in Edge browser as the application has worked fine on Windows 10 v1511 without such. You can’t write off the possibility of official FDM extension for Edge browser in the near future that too, considering Windows 10 anniversary update which brings extension support for Edge, is not far away.
Free Download Manager 5.1.9 Beta adds Experimental Edge Support and introduces Snail Mode
Chrome browser extension for the latest version is available here on the web store. When downloads are complete, FDM shows notifications on Windows 10 for IE and Edge browsers.

hi
why auto power off got omited from fdm v.5.1.31 i need this feature is there any solution for that?
They’ve removed the option from Advanced Settings which we mentioned before in this site https://techdows.com/2016/08/free-download-manager-shut-down-computer-when-download-complete.html, we don’t know the reason for that. Currently we’re not aware of such.
