Here is how to fix this and stay in the Fast ring forever until you change your mind.

Fix Couldn’t Change from Slow to fast ring in the Windows 10 Preview build
1. Press Win+X to open the Quick menu, select’ Command Prompt (Admin)’
2. Run the following command
reg flags HKLMSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsSelfHostApplicability set DONT_VIRTUALIZE
