Avast Browser Cleanup available in Avast and as standalone product also gets rid of toolbars from browsers. Recently Auslogics has released Freeware tool Browser Care which lets you manage extensions, plugins, toolbars, homepage and search engine of browsers from one place. Browser Care lets you do following things for Firefox, Chrome and Internet Explorer browsers separately.
- Remove unnecessary toolbars or plugins.
- Clear browsing data- cache, history, cookies, Login data and Form auto-fill- which protects your privacy as well as frees up some disk space too.
- Change browser homepage and search engine, useful in situations if they were hijacked or modified by malware.
- Set specific browser as default.
- Restore default browser settings.
Austlogics Browser Care Portable
But this excellent browsers managing tool doesn’t have portable version available till now. Luckily with recent version update, Auslogics now offering Portable version too for this tool which doesn’t require installation and indeed is more useful for advanced users to carry it in their USB drives and fix their friends or relatives browser issues easily.
