Beginning with version 67, Chrome browser started drawing title bar and caption buttons color on it’s on own instead of leaving the task to Windows 10, as a result, you can notice title bar color as gray instead of White in current Chrome 74.
Chrome 74 removes Custom drawn Windows 10 titlebar flag
FYI, the “Custom-drawn Windows 10 Titlebar” flag that was available in the past to disable the change is no longer available in version 74, it has been removed, but still, you can make Chrome title bar area to what it looked before May 29, 2018 if you want, here is how.
1. Right click on Chrome shortcut icon on the desktop
2. Select Properties
3. In Target field after Chrome.exe” add the below flag
--disable-features=Windows10CustomTitlebar
4. Click “Continue” to provide administrator permission to the warning displayed on the screen.
Here is how the Target field should look like for 64-bit Chrome, after appending the switch "C:Program Files (x86)GoogleChromeApplicationchrome.exe" --disable-features=Windows10CustomTitlebar
5. Launch Chrome with the command-line switch, the browser title bar, and Window captions will be turned to Windows 7 style.
