Avast Components menu: Install/Uninstall Components from Settings

With the Nitro Update avast has announced it will follow a monthly cycle to release new versions, since the Nitro has been released a month back, the company is now testing a new beta version 12.2.2273, which replaces ‘Activate Protection’ in Settings and brings a new components menu. This allows users to install or uninstall Avast components from the Settings without using the uninstaller.

What this means to the users is he/she can visit Avast Settings > Components section and simply install or uninstall the desired antivirus component(s) without the need to open Control Center > Programs > Programs and Features, selecting Avast and clicking ‘Change’. Hope you’ve understood the reason behind the addition of Components menu.
