After the Folder as workspace feature, Notepad++ has got one of the most requested features –-log monitoring— with version 6.9.2. Like Unix’s tail -f command, ‘Log Monitoring allows users to monitor log files’ writing, update by scrolling to the last line while every modification’. To use this command, you need to click on the eye icon on the toolbar or select ‘Monitoring (tail-f)’ in the view menu.
Notepad++ 6.9.2 has also added ‘Find in Finder’ new feature and fixed the following bugs.
- Fixed status bar display bug in high dpi environment.
- Fixed open in explorer problem while path contain unusual characters.
- Fixed smart highlighter issue after zoom or code folding change.
