6.5 version for Notepad++ has been released with new features and available for download. Notepad++ 6.5 final adds new features such as auto-close and multi-paste and enhances function list and brings support for CoffeeScript language.

Notepad++ v6.5 new features
New feature Auto-close added in this version completes parenthesis, quotes, bracket and matched xml/html tag. You can enable auto-close from auto-completion in NPP preferences dialog.
Other significant additions are support for CoffeeScript and multi-paste for multi-selection/column mode.
If you’re running this program administrator, that information will be shown on Notepad++ title bar. This version comes with enhancements to function list: new reload button, user defined languages supported, new parsers (php, perl, xml, batch, ini and nsis) and bug fixes.
