You’re just one app away from getting Chrome App Launcher on Windows. When you install a new app from Chrome Web Store, you’ll have the option to get App Launcher. When you sign into your Google Account, you can start using App Launcher that lets you manage apps and allows you to launch apps directly from desktop. App Launcher also includes apps from New Tab Page.
Not Found App Launcher on Taskbar after installing an app? don’t worry! you can still get back it onto Taskbar on Windows 7/8, for that
Click on Start Menu>All Programs>Google Chrome, right click on Chrome App Launcher and select Pin to Taskbar.

How to Remove Chrome App Launcher?
Right click on App Launcher icon on taskbar and click Unpin this program from taskbar.
Chrome App Launcher is useless unless you’ve installed lot of Chrome apps.
