Malwarebytes 3.6.1 Free removes Monthly Scheduled Scan, fixes BSOD issue with Farflt.sys

Malwarebytes 3.6.1 version has been released and available for download with changes, improvements and bug fixes. The new version has not only improved the threat detection and remediation technologies, but also has removed the Monthly scheduled scan feature in free version they made available with version 3.1.

We’re not sure Malwarebytes Free version users aware of scheduled scan that runs once a month automatically, the scan used to enabled by default under ‘Scan Schedule’ is now on hover over showing ‘This feature is only available in Trial and premium versions’ and looks as if they also removed trial offer they include with installer that lets you try Malwarebytes for 14-days (update: no not, MBAM still comes with trial included), after that, it will be converted to free version.
