
Facebook has decided to discontinue its Messenger apps for Windows and Firefox, this comes into effect from March 3, this year and they’ll stop working from that daytime. You’ve no other option but to uninstall them, then if you’re using.
If you don’t know: Messenger for Windows is a standalone desktop app that lets you chat with your Facebook friends without the need to be on the Facebook site in the browser where Messenger for Firefox is social service integrated into the Mozilla browser as part of Social API lets you chat while you browse in a pop-up on the right – side. The social networking company started showing a notification about this in the window of Messenger for Windows.

At present, you can’t download Messenger for Windows, or find Messenger for Firefox page to enable it in Firefox, both don’t exist. So what you can do after Match 3 is uninstall those, below are the instructions for that.
Uninstalling Messenger for Firefox and Windows
You can uninstall Facebook Messenger for Windows from Control Panel, and Messenger for Firefox by visiting Add-ons page in Firefox, click on Services section and click ‘"Remove’ button next to Facebook Messenger.
