Firefox 62.0.3 fixes Mojave Bug and a Vulnerability

Mozilla to officially release Firefox 62.0.3 update on October 3, 2018 that fixes issues on Mac, including new Mojave and a vulnerability. These issues have been found in Firefox 62.0.2.

What’s new?

  • Fixed hangs MacOS Mojave when various dialog windows (upload, download, print, etc.) are activated

Mozilla found users on Mac OS Mojave not able to choose where to download, print or browse files because popup window always freeze. The company has given this a high priority and fixed the issue.

  • Fixed playback of some encrypted video streams on MacOS

An issue where Adobe flash DRM encrypted video streams fail to play in Firefox 62, which was shipped with Flash Sandbox on Mac and enabled by default.

  • A security vulnerability reported on crash in TransportSecurityInfo due to cached data has been fixed.
