Foxit Reader, PDF application from Foxit Software is not only a PDF Viewer, but it also has a PDF Printer built-in that allows converting text documents or images to PDF. You can do this in many ways: for e.g. you can drag and drop a file onto Foxit Reader Shortcut or application Window, that file will be converted into PDF. You can also use ‘Convert to PDF in Foxit Reader‘ option on Windows Explorer right-click menu for this. If your Context menu is already cluttered with other items and if you don’t use this option, you can remove or disable it, here is how that can be done.

Disable or remove Foxit Reader’s ‘Convert to PDF’ Right-click Menu item on Windows
1. Open run dialog, type cmd
2. Right-click on the result and choose Run as administrator
3. Depending upon you’re using 32-bit or 64-bit system. paste and run the following command
regsvr32 /u "C:Program Files (x86)Foxit SoftwareFoxit ReaderpluginsConvertToPDFShellExtension_x64.dll"
regsvr32 /u "C:Program FilesFoxit SoftwareFoxit ReaderpluginsConvertToPDFShellExtension_x86.dll"

4. That’s it.

2. Try to it reinstall it again, choose Custom installation,
3. Uncheck ‘Windows Shell Extension for converting PDF’ and click Next
