Microsoft Pulls Windows 10 October 2018 Update from download page and Pauses Rollout

Seems Microsoft has pulled the plug on Download Windows 10 website, they’ve removed October 2018 update download information from the page without any announcement and now showing ‘Windows 10 April 2018 Update now available’ message. This could be because of users who updated to Windows 10 version 1809 noticed their files in Documents folder are deleted, this is a big issue, the company may want to address that. So if you’re looking to update Windows 10 to version 1809 manually, don’t do that until Microsoft comes with an official announcement on this.

Update: The company confirms it has paused the feature update roll out to devices and provided this information on Windows update history page

“We have paused the rollout of Windows 10 October 2018 Update (version 1809) for all users as we investigate isolated reports of users missing some files after updating”.

Microsoft at the above page also warned customers not to proceed with installation of Windows 10 1809 if they’ve manually downloaded the media creation tool and created installation media using it.
