Opera 38 has now entered the developer stream and available to download with new features and bug fixes. While Opera software doesn’t guarantee the features that appear in this developer 38 to make to beta or stable at all. It’s interesting to note that this version offers personalized news on start page, and the company has added support for custom ad-blocking lists support.
Personal news
For personalized news to appear on start page, you need to enable opera://flags/?search=news#personal-news, and you also need to ensure News is disabled on Start page, use the cogwheel for that.
Custom ad-blocking list support
“We want to pimp your ride with our built-in ad blocker. We’re considering giving you power users the possibility to load your own files in the block-list form. There’ll be an extra button in Preferences, where you can add/remove any extra block-list files you’d like to load.”
This build apart from enabling risk files downloading warning and fixing Windows x64 experimental installer, include minor fixes and updates.
