Chromium-based Edge now offers a Setting to hide favorites bar on New Tab Page

The first update pushed to Microsoft Edge Canary added a new setting to always hide favorites bar, including, on the new tab page also.

Little things do matter. If you hide bookmarks bar in Chrome, it appears on New Tab Page, that’s by design and intentional, the old Edge browser doesn’t show favorites bar by default, you can show it, but you don’t have control over the appearance of it, for instance, you can’t make favorites bar appear on new tabs only.

Microsoft now addresses this and allows you to set favorites bar to always appear or never appear or appear on new tabs only through a setting in Chromium-based Edge browser.
