Microsoft wants every Windows 10 user to have access to Skype Meet now feature in the future. During the pandemic, with the rise of the video conferencing apps such as zoom and Google Meet, the software giant has today integrated the ‘Meet now’ button into the Windows 10 taskbar in an insider build. The button is currently, visible to a subset of insiders on build 20221 of the dev channel.
With the recent availability of Meet now on Skype, users can able to set up and join video calls without signups. Users don’t need to download the Skype app either.
Now creating a meeting or joining a meeting is just a click away. All users need to do is click on Meet Now’s camera icon in the notification area to get started. You’ll be redirected to a tab in the browser with Skype on Web open with settings preconfigured for the same.
How to create or join a meeting by using Meet Now in the taskbar on Windows 10
1. Click on the Camera icon on the taskbar

2. To create a meeting,
Click on the “Create a meeting” option in Meet Now UI,
Unmute the Camera and microphone and select “Start meeting”.
3.To join a meeting,
Click on the “Join a meeting” option in the Meet Now dialog,
Enter or paste the meeting link or code, click Join, and further click on “Join meeting”, done.
