Windows 10 Search gets Full dark theme support in Insider builds

Windows Search in Windows 10 support dark mode, but the search results don’t appear dark. Microsoft now rolling out dark theme support to Windows Search results in Windows 10 insider build 20211.

Personalization settings in Windows 10 let you theme everything in Windows to light or dark or custom color. For instance, if you select light color, every part of Windows 10 including desktop, File Explorer, and Settings turns to a light color, but that’s not always the case when you select a dark color or enable dark mode.

For instance, when you enable dark mode, the Search layout appears with a dark theme, but not the Search results layout when you search for a file or application as you can confirm that from the screenshot taken on Windows 10 2004.

Microsoft is now addressing this and making dark theme support for Windows search consistent when you select  All results or filtered by Apps or Documents or Web,

Windows Insider Florian confirmed he running Windows 10 insider build 20211 has received the change. The feature could be rolling out to insiders and may not be available to all at this moment.
