Exclusive: Piriform tests Quick Clean feature for CCleaner

We’re lucky to be one of the random users to get a hands-on Quick Clean feature which Piriform is testing for CCleaner on Windows. Quick Clean function integrated into CCleaner UI, appears by default in the interface when you launch the application and when you click analyze button it finds cookies (trackers) and junk and asks to review and clean them, you can delete all the stuff with a single button.

For the unknown, the company has added feature previews support to CCleaner with version 5.48 and we’ve been chosen randomly to preview the feature.

Here is the introduction offered by CCleaner for Quick Cleaner feature:” Welcome to the preview of Quick Clean our new simple interface offers step-by-step instructions to make speeding up your PC and Maintaining your online privacy even easier. We’d love you to give it a try”.

When you launch CCleaner, Quick Clean UI will be shown by default in Home screen, which you can change to current Custom Clean by visiting Settings.

Its nice to test new features and at the moment there is no way to opt out of CCleaner feature Previews program, the company has made clear with version 5.48 release that users should stay on 5.47 if they don’t want to be selected for testing and Piriform promised they’ll find a solution to let users opt out of the Preview program.
