To comply with GPDR, Avast’s Piriform has updated their privacy policy and provided new privacy settings in CCleaner 5.43 free version letting you know they collect usage data and share with third-parties. But initially when they released this version with privacy changes, they allowed only Professional users to uncheck the privacy preferences, by doing so, CCleaner Profressional users can able to opt-out of data usage sharing with 3rd parties for analytics purposes. But no control has been given to free users (the options have been grayed out) and company cited this reason: CCleaner Free users are anonymous to them as they don’t collect any personal identifiable information from them.
