The wallpaper above has quite a few artifact on my second monitor, mostly around darker areas.

My second monitor displays artifacts no matter which port i use to connect it to my PC (tried dport and hdmi) or even which adapter (tried both integrated Intel HD graphics and Nvidia 970).

Another user running shares a screenshot of blue/green squiggly lines appearing on secondary screen. He confirms Primary monitor is not affected

What’s new with f.lux

version 4.115 (beta)

  • Try this: “Effects…” “Use Dark mode at sunset” to turn Windows Dark mode on at night and off during the day
  • DST smoothing (cues to make the time change easier)
  • Fixes for Hue reliability
  • Solar time
  • Fixes for Windows 10 May 2020 (v2004)

Solar Time?

We added “Solar time” to the preferences, because we’re think it’s important.

If your solar time is after the current clock time, it’s likely that you live in a place that’s easy for night owls to be (because they can wake up late). And if you’re in a place where the solar time is much earlier than what your clock says, it’s easier for early birds, because they can go to bed early.

This is not the first time F.lux has issues with Windows 10 feature updates, in the past, the compatibility issue between Windows 10 1903 and F.lux caused to screenshots to appear with yellow tint. The issue has been addressed and fixed by developer then.
