A few months back, Opera software has acquired SurfEasy VPN service, they now want their users to know about their VPN service, for that, they’ve integrated the download option for SurfEasy VPN in Opera 32.
Turn off or Remove SurfEasy VPN Ads in Opera browser
When you open a private window or click on security badge in the address field or when you visit ‘Privacy & Security’ section in the settings, you’ll see SurfEasy VPN ad, which upon clicking redirects you to the VPN website.
If you don’t want to see them, here is how you can get rid of them.
1. Visit browser://flags/#surf-easy-promotion in the browser address bar
2. Select ‘Enabled’ from the options shown in the drop down, click ‘Relaunch now’
