Firefox Private browsing Page

Whichever Web browser you use, the private browsing or incognito mode works the same.

Your browser history, the information you entered in forms, and cookies will be cleared when you exit, the bookmarks and downloads will be kept.

The page tries to inform users that Private browsing mode doesn’t make you anonymous, but if you share your device with others, they won’t see your activity. The websites or your Internet Service Provider can still track you.

Here is what Firefox says on its Private window with Google Search box at the center when you open it:

“Firefox clears your search and browsing history when you quit the app or close all private browsing tabs and windows. While this doesn’t make you anonymous to websites or your internet service provider, it makes it easier to keep what you do online private from anyone else who uses this computer.”

The page contains links to Private browsing myths and Mozilla VPN.
