Mozilla to ship Firefox 89 with a redesigned interface, Proton on June 01. The organization has decided to hide the compact density option for new users and remove the Page Actions menu from the address bar as part of the redesign.
According to beta release notes, the new Proton UI brings
- floating tabs, new icons, streamlined menus,
- updated info bar, and modals,
- lighter iconography, a refined color palette,
- and more consistent styling throughout and simplified browser Chrome and toolbar.
Every major UI change may drop some features. Adapting to UI change isn’t easy and doesn’t happen overnight.
Some of the users didn’t like Firefox interfaces such as Australis, Photon, this can also happen with the upcoming Proton.
The company can’t please everyone, but, some of you may miss the Page Actions Menu badly with Firefox 89 release.

RIP Page Actions Menu
Mozilla introduced the Page Actions menu with Firefox 57.
Clicking on the three-dot icon in the address bar shows up various options to share content.
You can save the page to the Pocket, Pin a tab, take a screenshot (this was moved to toolbar now), copy or email a link, share content via various Windows 10 apps.
The Page Actions Menu has been removed in Firefox 89 beta and Nightly 90 versions. The change could reflect in the release.

One of the Firefox channel handles on Twitter confirmed, this was part of the redesign.
“The Page actions menu was removed in our redesign and all its items moved to other places in the interfaces,” Mozilla said.
Mozilla may have hinted us this happening before by removing Screenshots from the Page Action menu. Now the menu itself was gone.
You can find Screenshots, Email links, and Save page options in Customize dialog.
Depending upon your requirement, drag the necessary items to the toolbar.
