Last updated on August 26, 2016 By Venkat

If you’re a Dropbox user, now you might have already know what’s happening about the service, the company has expired the password for those who have signed up before mid-2012 and haven’t changed the password since then.

If you’re one of those and if you visit Dropbox site today to sign into the service, you’ll be prompted to change your password. With your email pre-filled in the field below, all you need to do is click ‘submit’ and after receiving the email from Dropbox, you’ve to click ‘reset password’, where you’ll be allowed to enter a new password on Dropbox web site.

If you’ve changed your password by now, you don’t need to worry about your data, the company has said that it has done this as a security measure to keep your files safe. If you’ve not set up two-step verification for your Dropbox account, now is the right time to turn on 2FA.
