Mozilla already promotes its VPN in Firefox Private browsing mode. The organization is upping its game to gain attention from Firefox users about Mozilla VPN. The company has readied an experiment where Firefox prompts public Wi-Fi users to use its Virtual Private Network product while explaining the benefits that come with it.
If you surf on a laptop while connected to Wi-Fi at public places such as airports, coffee shops, and hotels you should be using a VPN to encrypt your data from prying eyes.

When Firefox detects you’re connected to public Wi-Fi network, you’ll be informed about the privacy benefits of using a Virtual Private Network
The dialog provides buttons to navigate to the Mozilla VPN page and dismiss the link in the dialog.
The dialog may look like this:

“Looks like you’re using Public Wi-Fi
To hide your location and browsing activity, consider a Virtual Private Network. It will help keep you protected when browsing in public spaces like airports and coffee shops”.
