Chrome 75: First Run Experience gets a complete makeover, now supports dark mode too

What users see whey they first run browser after installing is called first run experience and in case of Chrome 75, in the Canary and developer versions, the experience is cool and pleasant, because Google, apart from redesigning Chrome:// welcome page, has added dark mode support to it and allows user to pick a wallpaper for his start page during the setup.

Till Chrome 73, after installing the browser, Chrome://welcome page opens up and displays instructions (briefly) on how to set up Chrome from adding bookmarks to new tab page to signing into your Google Account to enable synchronization to get bookmarks, passwords and other stuff on your devices.

In Chrome 74, Google has added “set Chrome as your default browser” screen. In Chrome Canary 75,  instead of default browser prompt, the company allows to pick your wallpaper for start page from the collection available below:

Default, Earth, Cityscape, Landscape, Art, Geometric Shapes. Here special is both developer and Canary support dark mode for the onboard experience.

As shown in the Video, Chrome adds YouTube, Google Maps, Google News and Gmail bookmarks to the bookmarks bar. If you want to see that now in your Chrome, visit chrome://welcome page or add a new user. As I said, to see the new changes you require Canary or developer version.
